The Charym experience

Imagine entering into a luxurious yoga studio. You are greeted by friendly faces, with warmth and sincerity.

You spread out your yoga mat, and grab a bolster and a block from the shelf. You take a moment to settle. Breathe. You are ready for your practice.

As the instructor begins, you observe a sense of inner struggle. Your mind battles with you, bringing all the worries and stress to the forefront of your brain. You pause, you stretch and hold, and clear your mind. As you listen to the guiding instructions, you notice that you went a little deeper into the pose than you did last week. Your muscles release, and you feel a sense of freedom.

The practice ends in a Savasana. You feel a heightened sense of self-awareness. The pain and tightness that accompanied you into the studio has left your body. It is replaced with a new sense of relaxation.

These are just a few of the early benefits of beginning a routine yoga practice. Over time you will find greater impacts to your health: improved sleep, immune system, cardiovascular system and fitness. You will even find that mindfulness has crept into other areas of life. You are able to refine and enjoy your eating habits, and progress on an upward spiral toward healthier choices.

At Charym we present you with an opportunity to gain strength and flexibility. Everyone’s body is different, but no one can maintain a fitness level in a vacuum. Flexibility comes and goes. It takes continued work. We offer you consistency.

You will experience a profound catharsis in your yoga journey. With catharsis comes insight, which progresses to integration when you come regularly to class, at least once a week. Establishing the rhythm within yourself builds resilience to face the chaos of the external world.

We invite you to discover the potential within yourself through a weekly yoga practice, and to join the community here at Charym that we are so fortunate to be a part of.

Namaste.
