New hand-dyed Charym apparel, made with love by our very own Andrew Carazza

Ever since I’ve known Andrew, he has had artisanal hobbies. The kind of hobbies that make me realize, I don’t actually have a hobby.

Andrew once corrected me in conversation about rest and down time when I said, “Well, I go to weekend workshops about herbalism.” He replied, “That’s work adjacent.”

Andrew has gifted me so much wisdom and inspiration since we started working together over seven years ago.

Andrew, I want to say thank you for extending your hobby turned Etsy-level endeavor toward Charym.

Andrew has been semi-secretly hand dying anything he can get his hands on. He revamped a pair of light cotton overalls that I found in India. He cut and sewed his ideal yoga pants and added his eye for dye. He probably doesn’t want me to mention that he is a few great photos away from launching his online shop.

And since the last run of Charym apparel, which included my vision of the perfect crewneck sweatshirt, I’ve had the next edition of wearables on my mind.

It was only natural that my love for Andrew’s enthusiasm for niches like honing in a sourdough starter, making bagels from scratch and learning ice dye techniques would lead me to ask him to do a little something for us during the Heat Up Your Yoga Practice Challenge.

If you didn’t know it, Andrew and I can talk on the phone for hours cultivating our love for teaching, hashing out the paradoxes of life and masterminding our next moves.

I knew Andrew would say yes to dying the remaining Charym apparel, so that’s what I asked him to do. There were only a few shirts left that would work well enough to hold dye. But soon enough, 75 blank t-shirts and sweatshirts were on their way to the studio. And what followed has surpassed all expectations!

Andrew is personally crafting each design, from logo to dye to color. We can’t wait to see what you think! Keep watch of your inbox for when the new editions are live in our online store. Andrew is completing a few at a time and when they are ready those on our email list will be the first to know.

This week, our random raffle for Heat Up Your Practice Challenge participants is a selection from the first drop of this one of a kind, never to be repeated apparel.

After our winner chooses, the rest will be up in the store.

We hope you find something you love!
