Through this journey, we’ll explore foundational aspects of mindfulness, including sitting with ease, breathing deeply and mindfully, working through challenges with clarity, and reconnecting with your authentic self. Each month, we will introduce a new dimension of mindfulness practice, weaving together education, group sharing, guided experiences, and silent meditation.

Session One - The Mind Body Connection
During this two hour session Emile Sorger will help students to go deeper into their experience and understanding of the mind-body connection as it connects to their yoga practice. Drawing on teachings from the Yoga Sutras, Emile will introduce students to the concepts of purification, self-awareness and letting go. Participants can expect a vigorous yoga practice combined with an accessible discussion of yoga philosophy as well as an opportunity to ask questions and discuss their practice with a teacher with over 15 years of experience. This class is for anyone who wants to take their practice to the next level and see the benefits of yoga manifest themselves more fully in their lives. Expect to leave energized in body, mind and spirit!
Session Two - Building Strength and Stamina through Lunging Postures
In class two of the series Emile Sorger will guide students through a physically challenging practice that gives them access to the strength of their lower bodies. Lunging postures help us to become both stable and dynamic in our movement and our mindset, leading to greater levels of energy and confidence. Participants can expect to flow through a vigorous practice that emphasizes warrior postures, crescent moon, twisting lunges and standing balances. Expect to come out of this practice sweaty, strong and ready to handle anything!
