Marla Walter

The first time I stepped onto a yoga mat, it felt like discovering a compass—a way to navigate life’s twists and turns with clarity and purpose. Since then, yoga has been my guide, teaching me resilience, balance, and how to embrace each moment with grace.

My yoga journey led me to complete a 200-hour teacher training at Yoga Sanctuary and an additional 500 hours with Raji Thorn of Yoga Synthesis, a center that celebrates the transformative power of yoga. Along the way, I’ve learned from some of the most respected teachers in the yoga community, including Seane Corn, Todd Norian, Desiree Rumbaugh, Cyndi Lee, Eric Schiffman, and Dharma Mittra.

In my classes, you’ll find a unique blend of yoga and Pilates— known as Yogalates. This fusion combines the fluidity and mindfulness of yoga with the core-strengthening and posture-enhancing techniques of Pilates. It’s a practice designed to build strength, stability, and flexibility while promoting a deeper connection to your breath and body.

Each class is crafted to weave Yogalates with mindful breathwork and meditation, creating a flow that energizes the body and calms the mind. My teaching style focuses on alignment, intentional movement, and creating a welcoming space where students of all levels can explore their practice.

With thoughtful sequences and inspiring music, my classes aim to leave you feeling empowered, centered, and ready to take on life’s possibilities. Join me on the mat, and let’s embark on a journey of strength, connection, and self-discovery together.
