Silvana Da Luca

My love for movement began at the age of seven, when I first discovered the joy of jazz ballet. I danced into my early twenties, until an injury forced me to step away from the studio. In my 30s, I found a new path with Pilates—initially, as a way to strengthen my core after several injuries and two epidurals. What started as a physical necessity soon became a transformative practice. Pilates became my daily refuge, helping me reconnect with my body in a deeper, more mindful way.

Yoga came into my life about 15 years ago, initially also out of necessity. I was feeling overwhelmed and stressed, so I turned to meditation, yoga, and the wisdom of Eastern philosophies to find balance. More recently, I've discovered the energizing world of hot yoga sculpt, which has brought new challenges and unexpected ways to deepen my practice.

Living in New York City half of the time, I navigate the corporate world of finance, but my heart often drifts to the serene landscapes of Litchfield County, where I truly belong. I love hiking, gardening, the outdoors, and the countless lakes and open view of Litchfield Hills.

To me, yoga is a beautiful union of body, breath, mind, and spirit—a feeling I treasure every time I step onto my mat. It’s about more than just movement; it’s a practice of health, well-being, and connection, as well as an avenue for self-expression and freedom.

At Charym, my vision is to create a sanctuary where the stresses of daily life are replaced by joy, freedom, and renewal. Charym is a space for connection, celebration, and discovering the beauty of movement—and the beauty within each of us. I warmly invite you to join Charym and share in this inspiring journey.
