Rebecca Stump
Rebecca has been practicing yoga for nearly two decades. She obtained her 200-hour certification in 2011 with Baptiste Power Yoga, and her 300-hour in 2020 at The Yoga Space in Portland, Oregon. While she’s grateful for an athletic yoga foundation, what she teaches + practices today is slow and intentional. You can expect to build strength, increase mobility, and foster the mind-body connection in her classes.
Previously, Rebecca taught yoga around Portland, OR and at Nike’s world headquarters, where she consulted on the launch of Nike Yoga. She also spent 15 years in NYC working at the forefront of the wellness world.
Rebecca believes that movement should be nourishing, functional, and above all, joyful. She incorporates these three elements into all of her classes to leave students feeling equipped to take on whatever life brings.
All levels are invited to Rebecca’s classes — there’s nothing more powerful than a student exceeding their expectations of what’s possible.
Rebecca lives in Connecticut with her young daughter, husband, and rescue cat and outside of yoga enjoys hiking, weight lifting, and ceramics. Oh, and she makes a mean green smoothie.
